Welcome to Lincoln Elementary!
Mission: sustain and enhance a caring community to produce enthusiasm for lifelong learning
My name is Greg Adams and it is a privilege to serve as principal at Lincoln Elementary. The Osage CSD is progressive and provides excellent opportunities for children of all ages. Osage is the county seat town of Mitchell County providing many activities and emergency services. Active economic development, low unemployment, low SES, plans for upgrades, and low staff turnover combine to provide stable enrollment and financial stability, further resulting in high academic/activity standards and results.
Lincoln Elementary serves 400 of our district’s 1,000 students. Lincoln Elementary has three sections per grade level with an average of 65 students, serving children in grades preschool through 4th grade.
Programming includes:
- Preschool- (4-year olds & 3-year olds with an IEP). There is a morning and afternoon class for (3) hours. No Wednesday. Growing Tree is a community preschool partner offering a similar curriculum.
- Kindergarten Prep- (5-year olds that are young or need another year prior to kindergarten). (4) full days. No Wednesday.
- Curricula: Creative Curriculum, Jolly Phonics, Journeys, Daily 5/CAFE, Chicago Everyday Math, ST Math, FOSS science kits. 1:1 technology → KP-3rd grade (iPads), 4th grade (Chromebooks).
